A Heavy-Hearted Farewell to Rush Limbaugh!

You know, Rush, it's been so nice having you here, and it's sad that now you must go. Seriously, we're all crying about this. But my guess is that wherever you go, it'll probably be a place with loose immigration (as it would have to be), and free health care. Don't do that to yourself. There is a place that I know where you would fit right in. It's a place where the palm trees grow and the sands are plentiful. It's a place where people like you are in the majority. Where pornography is illegal and homosexuals are killed in the streets. A place where the roads run red with the blood of those who don't follow the teachings of a preordained religion. A place where reproductive rights are inconsequential, simply because they don't exist. It's a place where people are NOT free to speak their minds unless fully approved by the government. It's a place where you'll never see offensive material on the television or hear it on the radio. It's a place where the evolution will NEVER be taught in public schools, and neither will the dirty liberal agenda. That place is called The Middle East. You will love it there, Rush. It's a whole country of people just like yourself, and I'm sure the governments there would more than appreciate your radical right-wing thinking and probably elect you dictator in less than a week. Enjoy, Rush. And with a heavy heart, I bid a long, long, long overdue adieu to you and yours. Goodbye, Fuckface!

Oh That Nasty Socialism!!!

Socialism! Gee, sure is a scary word, isn't it? But why? Well, history has shown us that socialism can only lead to dictatorship, the stripping of a citizen's freedoms, poverty and so on. Well, is that really true? Or is that just the social connotation that is applied to socialism simply because of its misuse in the past in countries like Cuba and Nazi Germany? Obviously, the latter is true.

We, in America, already "suffer" under a socialist "regime". Guess what? So do most other countries. Even countries with far greater freedoms than our own throughout Europe and Asia, and even just north of us in Canada

How do we "suffer" under this socialist "regime" you ask? Well it's simple. Every time you drive to work, you're driving on roads built by our socialist system of infrastructure. The same applies when you're walking on a public sidewalk.

That's not it. How many of these Teabagger conservatives do you suppose are graduates of our socialist public education system? How many of them rode to those socialist schools in our socialist buses on our socialist roads after waiting at bus stops on our socialist sidewalks? How many times did they enter our socialist libraries to study with socialist books bought by our socialist system? Well, probably not many considering this information is apparently alien to them.

How many times have I gone out on a beautiful day and walked around a socially cared for lake, walking on socialist walking trails that walk parallel to socialist bike trails? On these paths are beautiful socialist parks where socialist plants and trees grow because of socialist upkeep.

And if there is ever any sort of an emergency that could ruin such a perfect day as I've had today (the day I just described)there are always those you can call for help. Oh yeah, in case of a fire, you can call your socialist fire department. In case of a criminal emergency, you can always call our socialist police department. Or if this is an emergency pertaining to park matters, there is always the socialist park police or those socialist wildlife departments. And luckily there is always a phone close by in case a person's cell isn't working because of all those socialist phones around these socialist public places that are there for your protection. But of course you may not need it because of those socialist cameras that monitor park activity.

I guess the point in the end is that a single payer public option gives us a chance to do what we haven't done on such a level before. Instead of socially providing just the means to a good future and the incentives thereof, we have a chance to provide the means of living a healthy life after the key to a good future is given, no matter what illness may take you. We have the chance to return to our roots as a pack animal species and start caring for one another again. We have the means to start caring for the tribe as a whole and putting the needs of the whole above the needs of the few.

Well, I can see why Sean Hannity doesn't like this idea. Not only is it an idea that stems from our human evolution, but it's also an idea spread by the vile and evil socialists of the past. People like Karl Marx for instance who nearly stated ver batem what I just said. But do you know who else said this same statement? Jesus, Ghandi, Buddha and I'll stop there.

I've always wondered when Jesus became a capitalist, republican, conservative tea bagger, but whenever this happened, I must have missed the memo. So, for once, Christians of America, act like Christ would have instead of acting like Christians. Understand what we have a chance to do here and do it. And for God's sake, shut the tea baggers up just by proposing the facts stated in this blog, as the most common reaction I've gotten to these propositions is, "Oh, I never thought of it like that before."

And I apologize that this blog is anything but eloquent, but this is just one of those topics where plain language and plain messages are more important than trying to use pros.
